The 'Blooming Through It' project started as a daily photo challenge after Erica was diagnosed with TNBC (Triple Negative Breast Cancer), an extremely aggressive type of cancer in need of more study. Zoom in, focus a little closer - and you see amazing patterns in petals, pollen and rain drops all around you.


This calendar features just a few of our favorite examples of finding beauty in the tiny details of everyday life all around us. All photos were taken as Erica went through two rounds of chemo and prepared for a fall 2026 surgery. We aim to turn one beautiful thing into another. TNBC research can save lives, and we're directing much of the proceeds from this calendar to help the cause.

On April 6, Erica Shannon started her fight against breast cancer with an aggressive chemotherapy and immunotherapy regimen.


The Blooming Through It project shows our journey to find joy in the beautiful, little things that surround us.


Here are some of our favorite photos from the project. Stay tuned in fall 2026 for details on a calendar we are creating! Part of the proceeds will benefit breast cancer causes.
